Cole Custer’s Day Ends Early in NASCAR All-Star Race at Dover.

DOVER, DE (May 17, 2026) – Eyeing his first NASCAR All-Star Race appearance since 2021, Cole Custer saw his day end on lap two at Dover Motor Speedway after being involved in a six-car incident.

Cole Custer secured the 22nd-place starting spot for Sunday’s race at The Monster Mile in his Haas / Autodesk Chevrolet, turning a total lap time of 114.988 in Saturday’s qualifying session. The No. 41 pit crew added to the effort in the pit-crew challenge, delivering a 14.919-second stop to place 26th overall. However, on Sunday his race ended when an incident entering turn two forced him out of contention to qualify for the NASCAR All-Star Race prematurely.
