Race Weekend Quick Hits:
  • The annual NASCAR All-Star Race makes its debut at Dover Motor Speedway this weekend for the first time in the 42-year history of the event.
  • All drivers will race in the first two segments, with lineups set by qualifying. Then, following Segment One, the top 26 finishers will be inverted to begin the second segment.
    • The final 200-lap segment will feature 26 cars, with race winners and previous champions automatically locked in. The remaining spots will be filled by results from the first two segments, with the final position awarded through the fan vote.
  • Sheldon Creed (485) sits second in the O’Reilly Series points standings behind only Justin Allgaier (640) and holds the second highest average finish (8.2) this season.
  • Cole Custer is looking for his third career appearance in the All-Star Race, previously qualifying for the main event in 2020 (16th) and 2021 (14th).
